Texas Uteruses Go to Court

I found an interesting article from the blog Juanita Jean's - "Texas Uteruses Go to Court". This article touches on a quite sensitive subject: abortion. Basically, this law forces women who want to get abortions to get a sonogram and learn facts about their babies before they get it. This action might be able to change their minds and decide not to get abortions (it seems like this law is against legalization of abortion). The problem here is that there was some argument over constitutionality of this law. So they were thinking about making some modification on this law - throwing away one part of the law.

However, the article points out that if doctors can't force women to see the sonograms, then this law will FAIL to be effective at limiting abortions, which is the whole point of the law. The article is inferring that the law will fail if the modification is done.

Legalization of abortion always has been controversial, and this short article points out the problem with the law (or modification that might be made) - moreover, it is telling us that we should open our eyes to this law.
